1983           Biddulph Staffs. England.  Studied ceramic restoration with Alan Finney at Ceramic 
                           Restoration Studios. Seven months
                   Presented lectures at St. Martin’s College. Lancaster Lancs. and L’Ecole de Beaux Arts, Paris
1989           “Cultural Focus”, a research project in Mali. Funded by University of Nebraska – Lincoln. 
                           Six weeks
1990           Conducted a Visual Arts Study Abroad Program in Northern Italy for University-level  
                           students through International Studies at U.N.L. 3 weeks.                               
1994           Artist in Residence: Spode Works. Stoke-on-Trent England. Five months.
1998           Solo Exhibition at the Brisbane Crafts Center. Brisbane, Queensland AU Workshop: Hervey 
                           Bay, Queensland AU
2001           University of the West of England. Bristol, Avon. UK. One-month residency.
2003          The Attingham Summer School. Three week program in England. Country House Studies: 
                           Gardens, Architecture, Contents.
2007          The AKAL Exchange. Proposed and Conducted a program that included Workshops and 
                           Museum Visits for three weeks in Morocco. Sponsored by The Peace Corp and the     
                           Moroccan Ministry of Handicraft
1999–2005 Conducted six Visual Arts Study Tours to London & Paris for University-level and non-
                           traditional students. Two weeks each. International Study Abroad- University of  
                           Nebraska-Lincoln
